South Africans in London Turn Out in their Numbers to Vote

South Africans in London

Special voting for South Africans abroad continued at various missions on Saturday afternoon.

Groups of South Africans formed long queues, waiting for hours to cast their ballots at Trafalgar Square in London.

Despite the lengthy wait, the atmosphere was festive.

Whether wearing a Springbok jersey, a red EFF beret, a green ANC bucket hat, or a blue DA badge, South Africans in London were eager to make their mark.

Over 24,000 voters are registered to vote in London this Saturday and Sunday, surpassing the total number of abroad votes in 2019.
