Mzansi’s TV and radio celebrity Bonang Matheba has laughed off a claim that she turned to muthi to find Mr Right!
Herbalist, prophet and kwaito artist Zakhele “Masheleni” Nxumalo (29) claimed yesterday he gave bubbly Bonang potions to attract men and get rid of bad luck.
“Every man will smile and appreciate her wherever she goes,” he said.
But when Daily Sun told Bonang of the claims she just laughed. Asked if she knew Masheleni and about his muthi claim, she said: “No, is this what you called me about? Alright, thank you very much, bye darling,” and dropped the call.
Masheleni claimed he gave Queen B three potions of muthi at Fourways north of Jozi.
“Bonang will find the right man who will marry her,” he promised. He said the man wouldn’t be a celebrity but that he would take care of her. He said the ancestors told him in a dream last month to help Bonang find her man.
He said he called her on 10 October. “Bonang laughed at me when I told her about my dream, but I insisted that we meet,” he claimed. “A few days later she called me. She agreed to meet me at Cedar Lakes. She was driving a white car that looked like the rented ones,” he said.
Masheleni claimed he gave her muthi in her car. “The first potion was geza lentombi to cleanse her of bad luck. I told her to bath with the muthi,” he claimed.
He added that when Bonang told him she was going to Durban on 17 October he gave her umthakathi omkhulu wakwa Zulu to spread in the sea and ask for the man she wanted.
